The fifth book in the Mark Manning series by Craft has our journalist hero trying to solve the murder of one of the stars of a community theater production. The unexpected death of the youth produces a wealth of suspects; chief among them is Manning's own son Thad. It is up to Manning, his lover Neil, friend Sheriff Pierce, and his other associates to crack this crime and put to rest the suspicions surrounding Thad.
