Faith and Phillip are twins sent to live in different homes after their parents are killed in an automobile accident. Before their separation, however, a treasure hunter trained both kids in the use of their psychic powers. Faith can go into trances and receive information from an omniscient power while Philip can leave his body and fly in astral form. Unfortunately, once in their new homes their powers uncover dangerous threats. Faith discovers her history teacher is a violent thief while Philip finds his foster parents belong to a weird cult intent on converting him. Through letters, secret investigations, and psychic support, the twins struggle to help each other through their dilemmas.
