Jonathan Harker, an English businessman, must go to Count Dracula's castle in Transylvania to make him sign a contract for buying a house in London. But as the days pass in the castle Jonathan realises that he has been trapped by the count and that most of the castle's doors are locked. One night, Harker sees the count crawling on the vertical wall of the castle and realises that Dracula is not human, but some kind of an evil creature. Jonathan jumps from the window of the castle to escape. Luckily, he is found by a couple of Romanian nuns and his life is saved. He marries his fiancé Mina and returns to London.

Jonathan has completely forgotten about the events he has witnessed in Transylvania but his wife finds the diary he had been keeping in the count's castle. The two must, with the help of their friends Dr Seward and Dr Van Helsing, destroy the evil beast before it destroys them.
