There are two patients that come into Los Angles Memorial hospital with coma like state after being in some kind of accident. The first patient was Arthur Lewis, who is a hell's angel. Then there was Sharon Wilder, who is a entertainer. But the doctor who's name is Dr. Roger Clark notices that the patients are urinating blue.

Dr. Clark then finds himself looking into Sharon Wilder doctors, only to find out one of them is actually not a doctor, but a scientist. He is part of a company called Advance Inc. Which is run by a guy named Harvey Blood. The company is a laboratory that experiments with different kinds of drugs. But what Dr. Clark comes to find out is that the experiment they are working on is a mind altering drug. The main one they like to use is the drug that makes you really happy. They started using it at a place that was thought to be a resort. When in all reality it was a building in the middle of an island by itself. Dr. Clark is asked by Sharon to accompany her to the “resort” and he agrees. But while there he comes to realize that it is all a altering of the mind and that he has been signed up for the “job” they have for him.
Dr. Clark is then taken to the corporation its self and has his mind altered to actually make him believe he actually wants to be working there. But as the weeks go by he becomes “clear headed” and leaves the corporation, only to find out that everyone he thought he could turn to has turned on him. He finally gets to his long time friend named Jerry and finds out that the newspaper says that he was admitted into a mental hospital for having a mental breakdown.
He then goes to the Memorial hospital and steals ether and oxygen tank. Goes back to the corporation and makes a homemade bomb. Then he puts an altering drug, that actually makes you see your worse fears, into the corporation founder, Harvey Blood, and leaves him there as the building blows to bits.
Best part of story, including ending:
I like this story because it makes you actually wonder if there are companies out in the world that actually use drugs on someone and they don't really even know it.
Best scene in story:
My favorite scene would have to be when Dr. Clark gets the oxygen tank and either from the hospital that he worked at. Then goes to the corporation and makes a homemade bomb and blows it up.
Opinion about the main character:
I like that Dr. Clark comes to realize that he has been mentally altered and decides that he is going to fix the problem its self.
