her first look of him when she has served as groomsman in his stables. She has no chance of gaining his attention until a fire has erupted at the stables and she rescues his dog. After the incident, Duarte has asked her for dates and dinners until he has come up with a marriage proposal. She readily accepts without knowing much of Duarte. But only less than a year she has realized that Duarte seems indifferent of her and a compromising situation where she has been caught with kissing a man destroys the expectation of a happy marriage. A pregnant Emily then runs away from her husband when she has found out from a friend that her husband is planning to divorce her and taking custody of their baby after it is born. She flees to keep her baby and has worked in different stables as a riding instructor. However eight months later, Duarte has found her and the baby and to her surprise has no intention of giving her a divorce. She has returned to his home estate hoping they could make the marriage work again. A bittered mother-in law from the first marriage, a manipulative secretary who tries to seduce Duarte, the compromising mistake from the past, and the strong hold of a first wife to her husband manage to put a rift between them. Can the couple manage to destroy all the suspicions and trust one another to take a shot at love and a real marriage?
