Eternity Road Book Review Summary

Detailed Plot Synopsis of Eternity Road

A great plague destroyed civilization in the early 21th century. The story takes place several centuries later. There is a legend about a place called Haven, where a few Roadmakers[as they call the people of the past]hid from the plague. They were thought to have brought art and books with them. These would open the secrets of their civilization.
The people in the book live lives as it might have been in the late 19th century. Some want to know about how the Roadmakers lived.
One expedition went out to find Haven and only one man returned[the leader].Everyone thought it was a failure. But,when he died he left the book "A CONNECTICUT YANKEE IN KING ARTHUR'S COURT"to Chaka[the main character].This was a surprise because it proved that they had found sommething.Chaka's brother had died on that first expedition,so she decides to form another expedition. The main part of the book is about the group, and their trip to find Haven.
The people they meet and the things they see make for a good read. You see things through their eyes.
It's a very good book with good characters.
