This book describes a year in the life of pop superstar Robbie Williams as told by Chris Heath from his unique perspective of being inside Williams's inner circle. The book is broken down into small snapshots of the events, confrontations and situations that make up the average day in Williams life and as such tells the reader far more about the singer than any kind of straight autobiography could do. Battling to stay away from the drink and drugs that have nearly ruined his life, Williams is alternately engaging and annoying with his depression never far away from the surface despite the riches and adulation that he receives.
