Christine Drexel died just over eight years ago. In a world where image is all Drexel has become the ultimate enemy. Now she is going to commit the ultimate act. In a weekend of chaos and violence, she does just that - killing the President and destroying the vast state run pleasure park called Zone Central - but at the brink of death Drexel realises that she's merely been a tool of the ambitious Directrix Of Public Education, Nadia Lang, and that even after her death her image will live on - in the service of President Lang of course.
