Flag of Our Fathers Book Summary and Study Guide

Detailed plot synopsis reviews of Flag of Our Fathers

A very good telling of the lives of the men who raised the Flag at Iwo Jima. Written by the son of one of the three surviving flag raisers, it is written from a fair and objective point of view. The book gives a good background of the men's lives as well as what they live through during the battle. It is a very poignant and sometimes sad reality of being considered a hero and surviving.
