Frankly, My Dear Book Summary and Study Guide

Detailed plot synopsis reviews of Frankly, My Dear

In this time travel romance, Selene, thin, surgically altered for beauty, permed and tanned has a voodoo curse placed on her where she travels back in time to the Old South, New Orleans. First mistaken as a slave, she convinces a man that she is not black and needs his help. He is not attracted to her at first, too skinny, too tan not of the Old South idea of beauty etc.. he decides to hire her as his son's governess. Romance develops between the two, with lots of lustful thoughts exchanged between the two. This book is full of humor and quick witty repartee. A fun read.
