Kris Bjorsen who was a slave tries to survive with some of her own species as well as many alien species on a planet. They were dropped on this planet by the Catteni,a race of aliens that enslave any race they come across. The planet was thought to be uninhabited but it wasn't. The planet was inhabited by the machines of a highly inteligent race of aliens.

When Earth is taken over by alien forces, the inhabitants are shipped off to a colonization world where they have to fight for survival with other alien races. Man vs. environment with a little romance thrown in.   This is a fabulous read!
