Jessica Fletcher, mystery writer from Cabot Cove, Maine, visits London for the purpose of attending the International Society of Mystery Writers' convention. She becomes a suspect in the murder of Marjorie Ainsworth, her friend and mentor. And Jessica's "romantic interest," Inspector George Sutherland of the Scotland Yard, helps her to investigate and solve the crime.
