    Drew Hawk is making his way back west after the Civil War. He is an ex-confederate soldier who has decided to travel to his friend's home to restart his life, only he has a leg wound that is giving him trouble. When Drew's friend, Willie, decides he wants to stop at a bordello in Galvaston, Drew agrees, but while he is their he realizes he is very ill and does not want to stop his friend from going home, so he picks a fight and gets rid of him. When the owner, Chantelle, comes over to talk to him, he passes out on her.

    Tricia Lee Shepherd is the adopted daughter of the Madam Chantelle, and after years away at school, has decided to come home to the bordello to live. When Chantelle brings an injured man upstairs, Tricia immediately takes him under her wing to nurse him. As she brings him back to health the pair fall in love, but Drew has an unknown enemy that has killed his friend and makes an attempt on his life.
   As Drew and Tricia decide they want to spend the rest of their lives together, Chantelle recognizes the pendant ring that Drew wears as that of the lost Hawk orphans. Chantelle reunites Drew with his brother and sisters reunite, they discover an enemy who wishes all the Hawk harm.
