Her first client, however, is a stranger to her, bounty hunter Cord Lawson. While under his protection a girl had gotten shot by one of the men he was tracking and he needed Sage's help. While trekking long and hard through wild country Cord awakes feelings inside Sage and shows her beauty of the land all around them and from him she begins to learn the true meaning of what it is to ‘feel'.
