Honey is a sweet country girl who loves her family dearly. She is particularly close to her Uncle Simon who lives above the cow barn. Her grandpa isn't very nice to him because he isn't blood related. He goes around reciting verses from the bible makeing everyone feel guilty. Honey is trapped feeling sorry for the way uncle Simon is treated but is unable to do anything about it. Grandpa just seems to get worse as time goes on. Honey turns to her uncle for support in his barn when grandpa comes in accusing them of wrongdoing. This causes a fight between the uncle and grandpa. Honey's parents run towards them shouting for them to stop.
