Ashleigh takes over as Holly's groom and when she droppes a weak foal, only Ashleigh thinks they can save the filly. The filly gets better, and everyone names her Ashleigh's Wonder. Then Wonder gets influenza. with the help of a grumpy old man named Charlie Burke, Ashleigh helps Wonder get over that too. Wonder was small compared to the other weanlings, so Clay Townsend (the owner) decides to sell Wonder, but Ashleigh pleads for her and shapes Wonder up in the month given. Townsend decides to keep her for another year.

Ashleigh Griffen swore she'd never give her heart to another horse--not after a disease wiped out her family's breeding farm, along with Ashleigh's favorite mare, Stardust.
Now the Griffens areare starting over as breeding managers at Townsend Acres, and Ashleigh's sure she's going to hate living there.
Then a small, sickly foal is born--a beautiful copper filly that looks like Stardust. No one thinks the foal will live or that it's worth trying to save. No one but Ashleigh.
Can one girl's love alone work miracles?
