Cullen and Nicholas realize that Gideon lacks in his coolness factor. They decide to help him out by making a bet with Gideon. They bet him to have sex with a girl of their choice by Halloween. The girl they pick is Molly McGarry. She is smart and pretty but not Gideon's first choice. Gideon sets his sights on a beautiful girl named Pilar Benitez- Jones. However a bets a bet, Gideon is excited because he is a virgin.
The book is nice because it tells what guys are really thinking. Readers will find that Gid is a truly nice guy, a kind of guy most girls want. He's sensitive and funny. He just worries about being popular and fitting in. The book has a lot of pot smorking, drinking, and sneaking out at night.
