Jessica Fletcher is a famous mystery writer from Cabot Cove, Maine. She is at a Midwest college campus where she is to teach a creative writing course when she experiences a severe tornado. Professor Newmark is killed, but Jessica can't understand why. He is the one who warned her to take proper shelter, but why didn't he follow his own advice?
