Nappily Married Book Summary and Study Guide

Detailed plot synopsis reviews of Nappily Married

Here we go again! This time, Venus has finally gotten what she wanted--a loving husband who is successful and happy bring with her. So how will she screw things up this time? First, after her husband practically begs her not to, she decides to apply for (and accept a job that puts a long distance strain on her new marriage). Next, she is working with none other than her ex from the first book, Dr. Clint! (and she leaves part of this out when she talks to her husband). Dr. Clint is still fine and is still married to the heifer that he left Venus for, but they are not happy together...finally, (this was the crazy part), they share a hotel room AND A KISS while on a business trip. Of course, Venus tries to justify it, but what she doesn't know is that her husband is on a flight to confront her about it all!

And that's not even the worst part.

Venus's nanny (her husband's "old" friend) is moving in on her territory along with his co-worker and an ex. Venus is about to lose everything.
Best part of story, including ending: I like that it shows how stupid and blind we can be when we are vulnerable.

Best scene in story: When Jake (JP) shows up to beat Dr. Clint to a pulp

Opinion about the main character: I disliked that she worked so hard to find a good man, then pretty much turns her back on him!
