Edward realizes that he is endangering Bella's life by being with her. Edward decides that he should stay out of Bella's life so he won't endanger her anymore.

When Edward leaves, Bella goes into a deep depression. She tries to summon Edward's presence by doing dangerous things. Whenever she does something dangerous, he appears in spirit and tells her to stop. This leads to her doing more reckless things so that he will appear.

Bella finds relief from her sadness when she spends time with her friend Jacob. Bella finds out that Jacob is a were wolf. However, Jacob cannot completely heal Bella's depression.

Bella decides that she will dive off a cliff into the ocean in order to tempt Edward to come save her. Edward's sister has a vision that Bella killed herself when she jumped off the cliff.

Edward is tricked into believing that Bella is dead, and decides to go to a group of vampire leaders to be killed. Bella must show up and stop Edward from killing himself.
Best part of story, including ending: This story was really good because of the suspense of Bella stopping Edward from killing himself. It was very heartfelt that Edward wanted to kill himself over Bella. It was a great part when Bella arrives in time to stop Edward.

Best scene in story: It was a really good scene when Jacob and Bella spent time together. This was good because Jacob made Bella feel better from her depression. If it wasn't for Jacob, Bella would be very sad.

Opinion about the main character: Bella is a very strong person and this makes her a great character. She puts her life on the line just so she can see the person she loves. Not a lot of people would do the things that Bella did.
