This is a story about a princess who falls in love with a beast and they become rulers of a different world. Isra is a young princess who has been blind since she was child and she is to be a sacrifice so her city can survive. It is a curse no one has knowledge of. But it has been done since many years ago. Isra is kept lock up in a tower because people believe she is mad due to her screaming and rampant behavior as a child. She is also believe to be ugly. So Isra sneaks out at night and spends her time at a rose garden. She pricks her finger on the thorn of a rose and is able to see into the future but one night she is attack by a beast momentarily. But the beast does not kill her even though he is suppose too for his people. They share a brief conversation but then her soldiers seize him and held him prisoner. Isra is entice by him and goes to talk to him and asks him of knowledge of herbs that can cure her ugliness and he says he knows lot of herbs. So Isra asks him to help her plant them and he agrees because he sees it as an opportunity to try and escape. He is lying though but in return Isra agrees to help his people from where he is from. Because they have been cast out due to how they look as beasts. They spend there times in the garden where Isra learns his name is Gem. Isra begins to grow an attraction to Gem. Gem notices how beautiful Isra is but makes no remarks to tell her such. In time Gem and Isra fall in love though Isra is to be married to a fellow soldier so he can be kind and take over the kingdom and she is soon to die. Isra begins to regain her sight when a soldier informs her she has been poison by tea and tells her to stop drinking it. So she sees she is beautiful and when time comes to make her sacrifice she does not and she notices due to that the city is fine and everyone looks the same. Humans have characteristics of a beast and beasts have characteristics of humans and she and Gem were married and able to rule and have children and grandchildren.

Best part of story, including ending:
I like this story because it is different from alot of fantasy stories. It is like beauty and the beast but with a twist on it.
Best scene in story:
My favorite scene is when Isra and Gem were traveling so Gem could inform his people that he was fine and they made camp in a desert and they shared a passionate kiss where they were describing how each other taste and sharing sinful thoughts of lust.
Opinion about the main character:
I like the main character because she thinks she was this ugly person and come to find out she was this gorgeous girl.
