The first area are the basics. It talks about body language, first imporessions, the golden rule (do to others and you would want others to do to you) and just how to be corteous. It is by far the most helpful of the sections.
The second section is abou talking. It goes into greetings and introductions. It also talks about Mr., Ms, and other formal titles. How to make polite small talk is also discused.
The third area is life with friends. This area talks about invitations, party pitfalls, what to do when staying at a freidns and how to treat a friends family.
The fourth area deals with presents. This area is very helpful, because not only does it deal with giving and recieving gifts, it talks about thank-yous.
The fifth area is very important. It talks about dining. This is a big deal, because table manners differ from place to place. This talks about fancy dinners, resturants, finger foods and just how to eat politely in general.
The last three area's are not as important. There is an area on being polite out and about, one about how to avoid embarrasing moments and one about special occasions.
The Manners Guid For Girls is a good thing for everyone to have, because it is simple and to the point.
