Truthfully, there is so much to tell about this book, This is an Excellent read, straight from the start of this book there are 350 people missinf in this town of Snowfield, California.. As it leads on more and more things happen that cause a group of people from scientists, doctors, ploice and military to help to destroy this. And although the character in the books are fictional, many of the mass disappearances that Koontz refers to are not figments of Koontz's imagination, they really happened.. I hope you enjoy this book as much as I have... It is definetely worth it to keep and read time and time again..+

Cliché, but the book *really* was that much better.
As a mini-series, I think it'd be stellar for today's audience.
Especially great descriptive writing style by the author and character detail; a casual, yet thought provoking and enjoyable read.
Immediately a great start and an even better build-up after that.
Tension and dread galore, really tapping into the primordial fear we all have.
