Prince of the Blood Book Summary and Study Guide

Detailed plot synopsis reviews of Prince of the Blood

After an attempt on the life of Borric and Erland, Princes of the blood, their father is very careful about seeing that they have adequate protection when they go to pay homage to the Empress of Kesh on her 75th jubilee. The added protection does not stop a band of kidnappers taking Borric during a sandstorm in the desert. Borric is to be sold as a slave until he escapes with the help of Suli Abul. While hiding in the governors house Borric uncovers a plot to kill the Empress and his brother Erland. The two join a caravan to Kesh where they meet up with Ghuda and Nakor, two men who will help them on their quest to reach Kesh and warn the empress before it is too late.
