In the meantime, some people at Horizon are working on a virus code-named ‘Ebola Shiva'. Together with a ‘vaccine' it should kill all people in the world, except some people at Horizon.
Some weeks after the incident in Bern, there is another one in Vienna, also with hostages. And, again, Rainbow kills all terrorists and frees the hostages. Some time after that, there is a mission in Spain at a theme park, where terrorists have took some children as hostages. This time there is one civilian loss, a little Dutch girl.

Popov, who was behind the first two incidents, finds out who Rainbow is, and decides to take John's wife hostage at the hospital near Hereford. Rainbow comes in action again, but this time it isn't easy at all. Two members are killed and several others are wounded. The hostages are save anyway, but Popov manages to escape. But, Rainbow now knows that he's behind some terrorist-actions and they try to catch him. They fail. But, when Losef Serov (Popov's real name (?)), hears that Horizon is about to kill almost everyone in the world, he calls John Clarck. He tells him what Horizon is about to do. They want to release the virus at the Olympics in Sydney.

Rainbow must prevent that...

John Clark has formed a counter-terrorist group called Rainbow which fights terrorism in Europe. The soldiers are experts and they prove this by completing two operations. What Rainbow doesn't know yet is that both operations were planned by a corporation who intentionally failed in order to raise the alarm of terrorism in the world. The people in the corporation are environmentalists who want to kill every human on the planet by spreading a disease around. These environmentalists claim that humans are destroying the earth, and it would only make sense to get rid of those who are killing nature. Rainbow thinks that they are the best in the world, and that nothing can stop them. Little do they know that a horrific storm is about to erupt.

The top special forces operatives are gathered and form one group called RAINBOW. Their job is to fight terrorism where ever their help is needed. When a radical environmentalist group threatens the world rainbow will be pushed to the edge and back.

The Rainbow organization has been created to help fight against terrorists and rescue hostages. They also seem to be getting all kinds of opportunities to show what their top-secret organization can do. Little do they know, all but one of their operations have been set up as a distraction for a greater evil to thrive in. A group of doctors from the Horizon corporation, known for their efforts in the fight against diseases such as Cancer and HIV, have been creating and testing a new kind of biological weapon to rid the world of the "infectious" human race, leaving only themselves and a handful of others to be saved to take care of anything that is left.

This is the most nail-biting, edge-of-the-seat, mind-blowing book on terrorism you'll ever read. Clancy's mix of exceptional realism, dramatic plot and sub plots and knife-edge suspence keep you glued to this book through out the night. At the time of posting this review, I'm in the process of reading it again for the second time.

Clark and his son inlaw Ding are back at it again in this action packed thriller. This time they are up against a mastermind that plans on restoring the world. This roller coaster of events ends up at the Olympics in Australia but they are not there to watch the events. Once again Clancy has written a masterpiece.

Mr. Clark returns, charged with running a multi-national anti-terrorist unit called Rainbow. Right from the start terrorist activity has to be dealt with and continues to escalate at an alarming rate. Are these random events or part of a carefully calculated plot to draw them into the open. And why would anyone want this deadly groups attention. As usual Clancy's attention to detail and story telling takes you on a journey that is bizarre, deadly, and possible. An enemy with seemingly unlimited resources and little regard for the human race. Will Rainbow's form of dark justice be enough? Enjoy.

John Clark and company are sent to England to take charge of a newly-formed counterterrorist force. But as they stop terrorists at every turn, a small conspiracy of environmentalists, headed by a powerful business executive and a close presidential adviser, has formed a far more sinister plan for Rainbow...and every other human being on the planet who doesn't agree with them...
The review of this Book prepared by Jacob Hurt

A frightenly chillingly tale of how a group of wacked up environmentalists use terrorism to cover up their plot to ultimately eliminate humankind using biological means, and try to save the earth from being destroyed by man. It's left up to RAINBOW, a multinational covert operations team to beat the enviromentalsist to the button, but they're distracted by the terrorist. Who will get their first? It's up to you to find out.
