But when he meets art therapist Faith LeFeuvre, a woman bound by secrets, he can't deny the possibility…or the chemistry. Unfortunately, his ex-wife and her ex-boyfriend have their own ideas, and Faith's job at a camp for autistic children is threatened. They both decide to focus on their obligations until the camp ends, and with Faith's gentle help, Garret learns to accept his deepest fears.
After he returns to his home in Ohio, he cannot forget the gentle, caring art therapist, and facing the increasingly difficult task of caring for Raphaela, he asks her to be Raphaela's nanny. She agrees. And as both Garret and Faith grow and heal, a delicate bridge is formed between their world and Raphaela's.
