Detailed Plot Synopsis of Right on the Money

ASI, a large water fixture company, is planning to acquire Eckert, a small family-owned manufacturer of kitchen appliances. It look like this is an ideal partnership until an arsonist destroys Eckert's business records and an ASI manager is found skewered to death at a trade show. Banker and amateur sleuth John Putnam Thatcher is drawn into a complex web of corporate intrigue as he tries to determine which of the two prospective partners doesn't want to be part of the deal.
