Rogue's Reward Book Summary and Study Guide

Detailed plot synopsis reviews of Rogue's Reward

Eleanor, a young girl recently out of school, falls in love with Lee Campbell after he kisses her in the private parlor room at an inn. Lee is a tall, handsome philanderer. He is also on a mission to find out who is blackmailing his friend, and at first mistakenly believes that Eleanor is involved. It turns out that it's really Eleanor's mother, Lady Acton, who is involved, and her reputation is at stake because the blackmailer knows that although married, Eleanor's mother has been having an affair with Lee's bachelor friend. Eleanor decides to join in on Lee's mission. Although attracted to him, Eleanor has to be cautious and hide her true feelings for him because there's no future at all for the wealthy Lady Eleanor Acton and Leander Campbell, a penniless and illegetimate rake.
