After taking his friend's advice of going and sell Rosy to the circus, it showed Adrian that it was not an easy task to do for him because many times Rosy got drunk. It really liked beer. In his adventures, he faced many problems and also destroyed the Monkspepper Hunt, Lord Fenneltree's party and made a total destruction in Mr. Clattercup's Theater. During his adventures, a train once hit Adrian and after being cured by Samantha,
he fell in love with her. The adventures still continued but the story finished with a happy ending.

When Adrian Rookwhistle inherits Rosy, an alcoholic circus elephant, his first thought is how to get rid of the animal. He soon decides to head down to the coast to try and find a circus he can pay to take Rosy in. On his walk to the coast the pair get into all kinds of adventures. Rosy upsets a fox-hunt and drunkenly messes up a debutante's coming-out dance. When Adrian is injured, they meet up with the Filigrees, an eccentric father and his charming daughter, whom Adrian falls immediately in love with. When she becomes angry with him for wanting to get rid of Rosy, Adrian decides to continue on his way and takes a ferry to an island off the coast, where he meets an actor who recruits him and Rosy to take part in a play. Disaster strikes when Rosy finds a bottle of alcohol just before curtain time, and she and Adrian find themselves under arrest and accused of a variety of crimes. This is when their friends come together to plan a brilliant defence and try to save them from going to prison.
