Best part of story, including ending:
It takes the fantasy gaming world and turns it into prose, but it is uneven as a story.
Best scene in story:
He discovers the ability to shape into a large cat. He eats a carcus and turns back human feeling sick. It adds humor to the adventure
Opinion about the main character:
Gord is a great warrior, but he is flawed and never quite stops being the beggar boy. It is deep for this type of tale.
