His family has to adjust to this new person in their house, a teenager with the judgement and abilities of a four or five year old. Artie tries to catch the shadow boy, the boy he used to be, who constantly eludes him. Artie, his mother, father, and sister Cozy need to learn to accept the new Artie and the changes he puts on their life.
