The main character is a very wealthy athlete who decides to share his money with the poor and middle class, and meets great resistance from governments, big business and religious organizations. The main adversary is a very wealthy banker who vehemently opposes any financial assistance to the poor or middle class of South America, as he thinks that the upper class should maintain and guard wealth, and ultimately power, only for themselves. The main adversary decides to harass and torment the main character and his allies, and even kills some of them to stop their sharing of great wealth. The main character gets help from several unlikely sources such as the son of a millionnaire, an American DEA agent and many of the people he has loaned money to in South America. In trying to escape the condemnation of the wealthy elite, the main character and his allies have to resort to violence themselves, and the story climaxes with chase scenes and plot twists.
