As they are hunting in a snowy forest, two brothers and a good friend stumble upon a downed plane. Inside the plane are the dead pilot and a cache of two million dollars. The trio decides that they should not report the money, letting it "lay low" for a year, then split it among themselves. The plan starts to unravel as mistrust, deception, and betrayal rear their ugly heads and covering up the hidden loot leads to murder. Bodies begin to pile up, as the story becomes a complex tale of realistic terror.
