Jommy Cross is a Slan of the first generation who's desperately searching for the inventions and the scientific papers of his late father. He will discover by himself that the human society is infiltrated by the Slans of the second generation who are secretly building massive weapons on Mars. Jommy will have to hide from them as well as from humans. He'll soon understand that the only way to prevent a global war is to meet Kier Gray. But how will he enter the palace of the dictator?
