|Plot Summary of A Spell for Chameleon - Xanth 1|
A young man, Bink, was exiled from his land of Xanth by the senile, old king for having no magic talent. But he does have one, he just has to find out what it is. So he goes to Mundania, gets captured, and makes a new friend. They get away a back to Xanth with an evil magician, and struggles with issues of honor and trust.

a young teenager is exiled from xanth for not possessing magical talents and is secretly being followed by chameleon(a young girl whose power causes her to change physically and mentally in long time-terms)he soon falls in love with her and discovers her secret and learns his invisible talent, he cant be harmed by magic and is questioned to be a magician.

A so called evil magician is ready to invade xanth,they try to stop it but end up helping him get into Xanth. They end up befriending the magician and putting him into goverment.
