The teenage daughter of a multimillionaire has been kidnapped and is making big news. TV reporter Tiel McCoy wants this story. She stops at a convenience store and comes face to face with the barrel of a gun, the location of this alleged kidnapping. Once inside, Tiel meets Sabre, the alleged kidnapped daughter, who is about to give birth. She refuses to go to the hospital, fearing her baby will be taken away by her overbearing father. In the midst of this standoff, the physcian who is helping Sabre has a questionable past and fears discovery. Tiel is a great reporter and soon discovers the hidden passages of his life, a scandal involving assisted suicide. Meanwhile, Sabre is giving birth, her father is barking orders at the FBI, and Sabre's boyfriend is forced to use his gun as the FBI makes a bad judgement call.
