Meanwhile, Ari has been looking for a job that will enable her to cover all the expenses. In desperation, she sees an ad promising to pay $100,000. She applies and is granted an interview and makes it through the screening when she discovers that the job is to be mistress for Raffaello (Rafe) Palazzo. She is not willing to accept this job and manages to find another job and make a few friends.
But just as things are starting to look up, Ari's mom wakes from her coma and they discover that she needs expensive surgery. The hospital cannot accept a payment plan; the surgery has to be paid up for up front. Ari starts applying for any source of funding that she can find.
Will she find the funding she requires to get her mom the surgery or will she end up having to accept Rafe's offer? Will Rafe still want her for the job after she has refused it multiple times? Will Rafe have to romance Ari to get what he wants?
Best part of story, including ending:
We see a strong relationship between Ari and her mom which is good to see. Even when there is an accident at the hospital, you see the strong connection between the two woman.
It is fun seeing Rafe and his family interact. He has two bratty sisters that go behind his back to find out what is going on and to see what they can do to move things along.
Best scene in story:
When Ari meets Rafe's family.
Opinion about the main character:
Ari is a strong woman who has her morals and does not want to compromise them, no matter how
