Detailed Plot Synopsis of Tapestry

Sneaking into her childhood sweetheart's home to gain his favor and make him love her again, Lady Laura goes by the name of Jane, and sucessfully wills her childhood love Alex into her arms. It's only after a hasty departure and a cruel secret that Laura begins to wonder if her life is worth living. With no husband and no family, it's a cloaked stranger that shows Laura how to live her life, and how to find joy in what there is to offer.
