Colleen is furious with both her brother and Bobby for trying to change her mind about Tulgeria. She is also upset that they still see her as a little sister who can't protect herself and needs to be looked after. But since this Bobby, her long-time crush and love, she sets out to seduce him. Bobby has insane thoughts about Colleen when she has been just a teenager. But because she is his bestfriend's sister, he considers her off-limits. Now that Colleen is all grown-up and very beautiful, he has a hard time keeping his hands off her. And Colleen is not helping either with her come-ons. Spending time with Colleen however let him see how she has grown to be self-sufficient. Her compassionate nature is shown by her volunteering in community work and the church. But a gang wants to disrupt Colleen's efforts in the humanitarian group headed for Tulgeria. And fortunately Bobby's presence scares the gang away. Bobby tells Colleen that it's dangerous in Tulgeria but Colleen refuses to be swayed in her decision. She shows Bobby pictures of the children who need help. And then she proceeds to show Bobby what she truly feels about him. Bobby panics and runs away from Colleen. He can't possibly have sex with his bestfriend's sister. But years of longing and missing Colleen prod him to finally follow his heart and so he sleeps with her.
When his best friend finds out, they come into blows. Wes feels betrayed and tells Bobby that he can't see her sister anymore. But Bobby confesses to Wes his true feelings for his sister. But Wes doesn't want to listen. He considers their friendship over.
Colleen ignores her brother and still goes out with Bobby. When she finally goes to Tulgeria, she is relieved that the Alpha squad – Bobby and Wes's squad – are escorting them. But the bus they are riding has been ambushed. Bobby has been hit. Right then and there both Bobby and Colleen confesses their love for each other. Wes forgives Bobby and accepts that his best friend loves his sister. They get Bobby to the hospital and he is able to marry Colleen.
