|"Melora Wyatt, a 35-year old caretaker of an invalid mother, falls in love with an old classmate, Blake Johnson. Melora has inherited an oil field which she believes to be worthless. Blake, an attractive engineer, knows of a new recovery method that could make the field extremely valuable. But first he must gain control of the field.
