This is the story of world reknown professional wrestler Terry Funk. It's almost like a history lesson on the who's who of professional wrestling. It starts out with his growing up and traveling with his father who was a famous wrestler in the 50's. Through the 60's Terry goes into his college years at West Texas State, how he met his wife, and when he first broke into wrestling, driving two-hundred and fifty miles for $25 pay offs.

The 70's would prove to be a fun and tumultuous time. He goes into his time working in Japan, how the vote went down for him to become NWA Heavy weight champion in 1976, and his problems with his wife. The early 80's saw the big wrestling boom with Vince McMahon's WWF, and Terry was a part of that. He talks about his famous angles and his matches.

By the late 80's the NWA organization was dead and Terry was working for WCW. There he discusses his famous Ric Flair match where he piledrove him through a table and the disorganization of WCW. In the mid nineties Terry discusses the rise of ECW and hardcore wrestling. He also discusses his death matches with Mick Foley in Japan for FMW. At the end Terry is working small independent shows and is happy with his wife on his ranch in Texas.
