Frank Pollard wakes up in an alley and has no clue where he has come from, but people are chasing him. Fireflies in a sandstorm? Meanwhile, Bobby and Julie are investigators caught up in trying to nab a hacker, Rasmussen, who has broken into a computer firm and is stealing their files. Only thing: Rasmussen has something surprising in for the two awaiting investigators. And then there's Candy, by far the most interesting character in the book...
