The BHC - Broken Heart's Club is a psychological thriller that does not come together until the very end of the book. It jumped around from plot to subplot, often annoying me to the point where I was not going to finish it. However, I'm glad I did because it does not make full sense until the entire novel is read. He explores issues such as multiple personality disorder and man's obsession with female love. The mystery surrounds the murders of several young women whom all have an affliation with the men who belong to a self-help group called The Broken Heart's Club. The main character, Conrad Voort, is a NY cop & his adversary is Dr Ian Bainbridge, a psychiartrist. Not until the end of the novel do you realise they are opposite sides of the same coin. I urge you to read on with this book & don't let it loose you in subplots. In the final few chapters does it all come together & you truly see the big picture.
