Emmeline needs to provide her aging husband with an heir, so she is forced to send her servant out to find a suitable 'stud' and pay him to impregnate her. The servant, instead, brings her a knight, but she must conceive this night so there is little choice. She wanted a faceless man, who would give her a child and fade away.
