The God Decrees is the first book of the Devan Chronicles. Julia is a gymnast with one aim for her life--winning gold at the Olympics, but when her parents are killed in a tragic accident she loses her way and finds her goals meaningless. Meanwhile, Lord Keverin is facing certain defeat at the hands of the Protectorate's sorcerers. he needs a miracle, and his freind darius sets out to give him one. The result? Julia summoned to war torn Deva aginst her will where she finds herself trapped into the role of saviour.
