Susan Trott's book "The Holy Man," is a short novel focusing on a combintation of eastern philosephy and an eccentric old guru, who spends his days helping others find meaning in their lives. The Holy Man teaches simple grains of wisdom, and carries no underlining religious, political or other kinds of themes, other than finding the beauty and humo(u)r in life.
