Skye has been so hurt and disappointed with Luc after he has accused her of being a slut. She has loved him so much and the time they have spent together unfortunately means nothing to Luc when he has quickly jumped into terrible conclusions about her. She has been kicked out of his life and is left pregnant with his baby. 5 years after, she has made a life for her and her son. Although not well off, she is content that her son is happy with their life. Suddenly Luc returns to her apologizing to her for all the things that he has said to her before. Luc wants her back and seeing her son, Luc wants to claim both of them. But Skye is unforgiving. She doesn't want Luc or his family in her life again. She has suffered so much from Luc's parents and she will protect her son from being subjected to them. Luc isn't easily deterred. He is determined to spend time with her and his son. Luc is determined to marry her. However he still needs to deal with his father who apparently is the one who has separated Skye and him 5 years ago. He is willing to cut his ties from his family in exchange for Skye.
As they spend time together, Skye slowly falls in love with Luc again. Luc feels the same way for Skye. But Skye still hesitates telling him that she will only marry him if he and his father reconcile. With the help of Luc's mother, Skye's anger over Luc's parents slowly fades away. She is ready to let her son meet with his grandparents. Luc's mother pave the way for her husband to accept Skye as Luc's bride. Luc and Skye get married and his father has gained his son back and a new daughter and grandson.
