Two weeks ago the police found proof that Eldon is alive and they move Rowan and his wife into a safe house. To lure them out of hiding, Eldon tortures and kills one of the members of Rowan's coven. As Eldon expected, the good witch insists on being part of the investigation. Rowan's friend, Ben Storm of the Major Case Squad reluctantly agrees to let the Wicca follower serve as a consultant even when his new boss disagrees.
