The Maine Massacre Book Summary and Study Guide

Detailed plot synopsis reviews of The Maine Massacre

A policeman from The Netherlands is called to Maine when his sister's husband dies in an accident. The inspector's health and age put him in a worrisome predicament for his colleagues, so a fellow dutch policeman joins him for the trip to Maine. The visit turns into a murder investigation when the Dutch Duo discover that the husband's death is the sixth "accident" to take place in the small town. The local sheriff has been plagued by gang activity, and other strange events, during his three month tenure. The clash of cultures keeps the reader laughing, as well as demanding our attention, as the clues start adding up.
