Nora Tamasin loses her father and her welfare is entrusted to a man known as "The Lynx." This man was accused of a crime when he was younger and he is determined to right this wrong done to him. Then circumstances allow his son to take his place in his plans for revenge. Nora helps despite the fact that she believes it's wrong.

This is a story about a young girl named Nora Tamasin. Near the beginning of the story she loses her father and her welfare is entrusted to a man known as "The Lynx." The Lynx is a man determined to right a wrong done to him many years before. When she learns that her benefactor is a convict, she decides to learn his secret. What she discovers draws her closer to Lynx and the rest of his family.
